Course Objective: This course is a college-preparatory introduction to physics. Emphasis is placed on the student's application of basic relationships in areas of mechanics, energy, electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, and modern physics. These relationships are developed through activities, lab work, lecture and practice problems. This course is highly recommended for those students who want to sharpen their problem solving skills for college.

Supplies 

PLEASE BE PREPARED TO LEARN EACH DAY!

 

v  1-inch, 3 ring binder, or a folder

v  Notebook paper, if using a spiral make sure there is a way to tear it out so it is neat on the edges

v  writing utensils – blue or black pen and a lot of pencils with erasers

v  Your textbook should be brought everyday

v  Scientific calculator

v  Suggested items: colored pencils and markers, a ruler, a protractor, graph paper.
