Even though learning in the academic areas is the primary purpose of any school program, extra-curricular activities are also an extremely valuable area where students share accomplishments and learning experiences beyond those which occur in the classroom. A wide variety of activities are available and we strongly encourage all of our students to become involved in one or more of them.

H.O.T. Club
Does your child need a quiet place where they can do their homework assignments or projects? Does your child need a little help in understanding a topic that was discussed in class? Well, the Aux Sable Middle School Homework or Tutoring (H.O.T.) Club can help.
The H.O.T. Club is a place where Aux Sable students can spend one hour after school working on their homework, projects or receive some individualized tutoring. The club is staffed by Ms. Meghan Watson and Mrs. Kristina Spear. Here is more information:
- H.O.T. Club meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 2:45-3:45 in Room 111.
- You must sign in and out.
- No appointment is needed.
- Bring all materials you need. You will not be allowed to return to your locker after H.O.T. Club.
- All school rules will be enforced. If you are being disruptive, or are not working on something, your parents will be called to pick you up.
- Have a ride here by 3:30. There is no bus service for this program. You may walk home if you are normally a walker.
- You can choose when you want to come to the program. Some students come everyday and others come only when they feel they need to.
- Computers are only to be used for typing or working on research for a school assignment. You will not be able to email, play games, or search the web for fun during this time.
If you believe that the H.O.T. Club can be beneficial to your child, please encourage them to stay after school and take advantage of this opportunity.
