MEDIA CENTER
Procedures

Students are expected to show respect to each other, their teachers, the LRC staff and all resources in the Learning Resource Center.
Students who come to the LRC unaccompanied by a teacher must scan their ID card when entering and when leaving.
All fees, fines and print charges must be paid in cash or by check.

Checking-out Materials

A school ID card is required to check out materials.
Books are checked out for a two-week period.
Students are responsible for the materials they check out.
A late fee of $0.10 per day will be charged for overdue materials.
Materials lost or damaged will be billed to the student responsible.

Printing

Black and white printing is free.
Color prints are free.

Student ID Cards

New students received an ID card at no charge.
Currently enrolled students receive an ID card at no charge at the beginning of the school year.
Lost or damaged ID cards will be replaced for $5.00.

Computers

Students must have their school ID card with them to use computers.
Each student has an individual log-in ID and password – they must not be shared with others.
Students are not to bring diskettes or CD’s from home to use in the computer lab.
Students may use USB flash drives in the lab.
Students are to log-off at the end of a computer session - do not shutdown computers unless asked by the staff.
Students are to use District 202 recommended web-sites - use of other websites requires permission of the staff.
