The mission of Grand Prairie Elementary School, with its tradition of strong parent and community support, is to provide a high-quality education by: Guiding, inspiring and nurturing each learner's potential: Enabling students to be productive in an ever-changing society: Providing an optimum learning environment for social, intellectual, emotional, and physical development. We will accomplish this through child-centered teaching, technological opportunities, and rich cultural resources provided by dedicated staff committed to the lifelong love of learning.

| The primary function of our school is to educate. Everyone can learn. The uniqueness of every child is recognized and embraced. Everyone needs love, respect, success, and acceptance. Our school provides a safe environment in which all individuals can achieve self-worth, appreciate diversity, and adapt to change. Learning is a responsibility shared by family, student, school and community. High expectations yields high results. |
