- The Class of 2011 posted a 20.7 composite score on the ACT college entrance exam. This is the highest score in district history, and just below the state average ACT composite of 20.9.

- District 202 uses professional learning community structures to drive instructional decisions.
- Since 2006, District 202 has increased the number of high school Advanced Placement college-level courses from five to 24.

- District 202 has implemented the Response to Intervention (RTI) model for all students, to better support student learning needs at all levels.
- District 202 student enrollment grew by 726 percent from 1990 (3,500 students), to 2011 (28,910 students).
- District 202 has created and implemented a proactive and comprehensive district-wide diversity initiative to better support the learning needs of all students.
- District 202 has 12 current or former teachers who have achieved National Board of Professional Teaching Standards certification, which is widely considered the highest professional recognition for educators.
