FACS
Mary Mikrut
Barb Rahn
At Indian Trail Middle School students participate in FACS classes in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Classes meet for a nine week grading period. Half of the nine weeks is spend in the Sewing Lab and the other half is in the Foods Lab.
Mrs. Rahn and Mrs.Gucinski each teach the sixth grade classes. Mrs. Rahn teaches all of the Foods Classes and Ms. Mikrut instructs the Sewing Classes.
All grades follow the same General Polices and are required to have basic materials for class.
Family and Consumer Science is a life long learning process. Basic skills and knowledge's taught in this course can be used by students throughout their lives. We are preparing our students for future independence.
