MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD
School is quickly coming to a close and here are the fun events that we still have going on.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3-7.  Forms went home with ideas of how to appreciate your teacher.  We are also looking for baked goods for the teachers’ lounge on Thursday, May 6.  Contact Denise Hohe if you are interested in bringing treats in.

Our next PTA Meeting is May 10 and we will be having VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION!!!!!  All volunteers welcome to join us.  We can’t do this without you.

Market Day Pick Up:  May 11 is Market Day (paper forms are due May 4 and internet orders due May 7)

May 18: Burger King Night

May 19: Field Days: Volunteers Needed (May 20 is the raindate)

MEGA EVENT: MAY 22
For the awesome sales we had for the Fall Catalog Fundraiser, we earned the MEGA EVENT.  Come on Saturday, May 22, for a day of fun.  More details are coming.  As a sneak peek: We have the Harris Lion, Joliet Jackhammer mascot, BMX Bike Assembly, Playground Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Culver’s Ice Cream, a DJ, and Plainfield East High School Jazz Band.  FUN FUN FUN!

May 26: EPI school kit pick up from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

June 1: Culver’s Night
June 1: Market Day Pick Up (paper orders due May 25 & internet orders due April 28) so stock up on your favorite market day items.
