Media Center Policies

Checking Out Books
•  Books are checked out for one week and may be renewed for one additional week.
•  Kindergarteners may check out one book.
•  Students in grades 1-5 may check out two books.


Overdue Books
•  Students must return overdue books before checking out subsequent books.
•  Overdue notices are sent home with students.


Lost or Damaged Books
•  If a book is damaged or lost, the family is responsible for the book's replacement cost.
•  Families are encouraged to pay for the lost or damaged book promptly so their student may resume checking out books.
