ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEM: The District 202 Online Payment System lets families pay their school fees online and track their financial obligations throughout the year. The system also reduces manual data entry for bookkeepers and secretaries, improves accurate record keeping and allows student fee data to be updated within 72 hours. We hope you find this new tool helpful as District 202 continues to strive to use our community’s resources effectively and efficiently. CONNECT-ED INFORMATION: District 202 uses the Connect-ED telephone messaging system to personally share important information with our community about issues ranging from local building-level matters to district-wide emergencies. It is very important that we have the correct contact information for the Connect-ED system to work properly. LATE START SCHEDULE: District 202 has added a new “Late Start Schedule” to its options for inclement weather, so that schools may start two hours later than normal and still end on time, rather than closing altogether. District 202 will notify families of school closings, or delayed starts, through the Connect-ED telephone message system; local and regional print and broadcast media; the District 202 web site (www.psd202.org); and the "Emergency Closings" web site (www.emergencyclosings.com) More information is posted on the district web site under "Schools" and "General Information."

VIRTUAL BACKPACK: District 202 uses the Virtual Backpack online system to share printed materials from outside organizations with families. The Virtual Backpack saves money, time and resources. Please check out the Virtual Backpack on the front page of our web site, the district website and in each week's "Education Partners" email newsletter, which goes to every email address in the student data base.

Art Contest Winners:
This year’s winner for the South-west Prairie Conference Art Con-test are Alexis Brown, Schuyler Staley, Nicole Hennett, Kinga Szopinska, Rachel Shaw, Stepha-nie Zelinski, Madison Barrow-man, Trevor Bush, Monica Stamper.
On Friday, May 18th, seniors should report to their first hour class. They will be dismissed to the cafeteria for breakfast, and then they will be dismissed to the field house to pick up their cap and gown and for a practice. After practice, students will be dismissed and will not be allowed back in the building. ALL LOCKERS NEED TO BE CLEANED OUT BEFORE MAY 18TH.
