In his 25-year educational career, Dr. Pasteris has held administrative positions as Principal and Assistant Principal for Naperville North High School, Amboy High School, Oswego High School, O’Neill Middle School in Downers Grove, and Jefferson Junior High School in Woodridge. He also was a teacher and coach at Joliet West and Central High Schools and at Hufford Junior High in Joliet. He also currently teaches at Northern Illinois University.

“Dr. Pasteris brings to District 202 strong experience in leading a large high school campus as part of a large unit school district. He has a proven track record of creating a professional learning community built on the premise that all students can learn,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Harper.

Dr. Pasteris earned an associate’s degree in liberal arts from Joliet Junior College, a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Illinois State University, a master’s degree in educational administration from Illinois State University and a doctoral degree in curriculum and supervision from Northern Illinois University.
