About Mrs Testen
I
was born and raised on the Southwest side of Chicago.After surviving
High School, I
got a BS in Chemistry from Loyola
University and worked at a testing lab, where we took apart Playskool
toys,
tested Lincoln Logs and plating solutions.
Next stop was the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, where I went to become a teacher.
I received a Masters
Degree in Inorganic Chemistry and my Thesis was the chemiluminescence
of
luminol. But I didn't become a teacher right away. First I worked
at a sewerage plant and the
Public
Health Department, where I ran the lab and was the Beach Grinch for
many
years.
