A.M. DROP OFF

Remember on cold days, doors open at 8:30 a.m. and students are let in.

All kindergarten students will be dropped off in front of the building at the main entrance. This area will be open only to kindergarten students cars starting at 8:30 a.m. If you bring more than kindergarten students all the students in that car may be dropped off in front. You must display your kindergarten number in order to be allowed into this section.

All other cars bringing students will follow the plan as indicated on the map using the bus loop. Please note that cars will enter and exit the north entrance only. To exit from the north lot will require all cars to turn right only. There will not be any left turns made from the north lot.

P.M. PICK UP

Kindergarten students, and other students in that car, will be the only students picked up in front of the building. Only those cars with kindergarten signs will be allowed in this front area.

All other students who are car riders will be picked up in the bus loop. Remember to stay in your cars and move forward as far as possible. Once you have picked up your student(s), you may move out of the line and proceed to the exit. Please stay in the passing lane next to those still waiting to pick up students. Do not cut across the loop. Prior to picking up your riders, you must stay in the pick up lane.

BUSSES

All morning busses will drop students off in the bus loop.

Busses will pick students up from the back parking lot during afternoon dismissal. Those students will be dismissed out entrances D and E.

NOTES

There is no parking in the bus loop .

If you are going to the front of the building , but are directed to the bus loop, you may use the passing lane.

Our inside dismissal will also change. Dismissal is as follows, first bell @ 3:26 p.m. dismissing bus riders, kindergarteners and YMCA students; at 3:26 p.m. 4th and fifth graders are dismissed; at 3:29 p.m. all downstairs classrooms are dismissed.

All kindergarten students, along with those who ride with them, will be dismissed though the front doors, entrance A. All other students will be able to go out through doors A, B, or C depending on which way they are walking. All car riders will be dismissed though door C. It is important that your child know if they are going to be a walker or a rider each school day. The Police Department will be monitoring this plan and recommend any changes that need to be done. Again, remember that time is not the critical issues. It is your child's SAFETY!
